Branding support for Colorado’s celebration of all things
mountain biking.
Colorado Freeride Festival was a mountain biking event hosted at Winter Park Resort / Trestle Bike Park in Colorado. The event featured a major Slopestyle event, and all types of downhill and enduro races, and even a challenge event where riders had to bike across the pond on a floating skinny. It was then owner Intrawests' largest internally run event. Charles designed everything from the website to on location signage, to digital advertisements, and we’ll show a sampling of our favorites below.

Print Design
Apparel Graphics
Screen printed commemorative poster.
We worked to create a custom illustrated, screen printed poster which was sold at the 2016 Colorado Freeride Festival. The poster features the branding illustrated with wooden planks and plywood. Within the plywood texture lies a commemorative tribute to Kelly Mcgazza, who had recently passed and had been a major contributor to the event in prior years. We also worked to illustrate Parry’s peak, a mountain visible from the resort, as well as the event dates in the cloud.
Event Poster.
Working the the event coordinator and marketing team, we created an immersive poster by pulling photography from the diverse mountain bike events at the festival. We chose new typography that was used throughout the event on signage, website, and promotional materials.
Apparel Graphics
We created custom apparel graphics that were sold at the festival, and created different color ways for each staff type that would be operating the event.
